HR Coordinator Full-Time

Our team in Maputo, Mozambique is looking for an HR Coordinator with outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. An HR Coordinator is expected to be resourceful, flexible and a gate-keeper with fantastic organizational and time management skills. You will have excellent administrative, numerical and IT skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. To ensure success, the HR Coordinator should display strong discipline with a generalist understanding of labour law, HR management and payroll. Top candidates will be fantastic at handling multiple request, effective at scheduling and improving processes.

Accountabilities:

Ensure the confidentiality of personnel records and that appropriate security is in place for accessing HR data

• Administer and maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.);
• Liaise with Global HR Shared Services;
• Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests;
• Coordinating employee onboarding activities;
• Assist with Policies’ drafting and Localization;
• Coordinate HR events and maintain agendas;
• Pull and analyse HR reports;
• Perform Payroll activities and administer employee benefits programs;
• Assist with adhoc HR projects;
• Support other assigned functions;
• Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice;
• Manager HR internal Communication;
• Maintain HR legal and Group compliance;
• Coordinate activities with HR Local and global Vendors.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English and Portuguese;
• Experience/Knowledge/Qualifications and skills;
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related (essential);
• 1-2 years of experience as an HR Coordinator;
• Exposure to Labour Law and employment practices;
• Exposure to payroll practices;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines;
• Essential – Highly computer literate, and tech savvy;
• Fantastic organizational and time management skills;
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills;
• Meticulous attention to detail.
