HR & Admin Manager (Petroleum / Oil / Gas) Full-Time

A new vacancy has opened for a HR and Admin Manager in Mozambique. The position is for one of the leading Oil and Gas companies in the sector and all candidates need to be fluent in Portuguese.

Responsibilities:

• Human Resources:
• Manpower planning;
• Resourcing – Recruitment and selection;
• On boarding – induction, provision of work tools;
• Succession planning to ensure business continuity and for bench strength;
• Learning & development;
• Strategic leadership development;
• Leadership pipeline;
• Talent development;
• Capacity building;
• Performance development and improvement (performance contracts, annual reviews, mid year review, poor performance management);
• Reward and compensation (cash and non cash benefits);
• Employee health and wellness (medical scheme, wellness programmes);
• Organisation restructuring;
• Employee relations – employee engagement, disciplinary matters, separation, conflict management;
• Maintenance of employee bio data;
• Provision of HR data to management i.e turnover rate,
• Expatriate management i.e. work permits, orientation, accommodation, schooling etc;
• Leave management;
• Compliance with local labour laws;
• Dealing with unions;

Administration:

• Optimal management of office (security, cleanliness);
• Management of receptionist and office assistant;
• Hotel and airline rates management;
• Contracts management;
• Office stationery budgeting and management;

 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration;
• 8 years’ experience in human resources management;
• 3 years’ experience in a senior HR management position;
• Knowledge of SAP or any other package;
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of Mozambique labour laws and requirements;
• Fluent in Portuguese;
