PSI is recruiting an HIV Self Testing Manager (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
Coordinate the relationship between PSI Mozambique and Ministry of Health (MoH), ensuring the effective and efficient day to day coordination and collaboration to provide technical support to the HIV/AIDS National Control Program;
In coordination with MoH identify approaches to test and find the most effective implementation model to generate evidence of what works to scale up HIV Self-Test distribution, referrals and linkages to care and treatment;
Align the donor indicators with the MoH priorities;
Catalyze national solutions through which Mozambicans are enabled to use quality HIVST services;
Catalyze effective collection, analysis and use of HIVST services data to support evidence-based on decision-making;
In coordination with MoH, organize trainings and implementation of HIVST services in the selected sites by MoH;
Be part of Health Counseling and Testing (HCT) technical group at MoH, to ensure better coordination;
Focus on usability and acceptability of the HIVST STAR services by the MoH.
Requisites
Master’s degree in Public Health, General Practitioner or any other relevant field;
At least 5 years of working experience in the Public Health System, preferably managing health programs;
Demonstrated experience in reporting tools, data analysis, donor reporting, and facilitation of use of data for decision-making;
Knowledge of the MOH national guidelines for HCT;
Experience in project and team management;
Excellent knowledge of donor and Government approaches and regulation;
Familiarity with international health, development issues and the international donor community;
Outstanding Portuguese & English language skills, both spoken and written;
Mozambican.
