Mozambique continues to face challenges in ensuring sustainable, efficient, and equitable financing for health. WHO supports the Government of Mozambique in strengthening its health financing system, including improving resource mobilization, financial management, purchasing of care, all within the context of implementation of the National Health Financing Strategy (NHFS), aligned with UHC, SDG 3 and the Lusaka Agenda.
In this context, WHO Mozambique seeks a full-time national consultant (NOC level Health Financing officer) to provide technical assistance, policy advice, and coordination support on health financing reforms and the operationalization of health financing national strategies and global commitments, for the period of 6 months.
The consultant will support the Ministry of Health (MISAU) and relevant partners in designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating health financing policies and strategies, with a focus on sustainability, equity, efficiency, and results-based management.
