A leading entity in the area of digital public health intends to hire a Software Product Manager, passionate about designing, installing, developing and troubleshooting health software, to provide technical support in the National Malaria Control Program (PNCM), in scope of the Implementation and Institutionalization of Digital Platforms for use in campaigns for Insecticide Treated Networks (RTIs), Malaria Chemoprevention (QSM, MDA, QPM), Indoor Spraying (PIDOM)) and implementation of the Integrated Malaria Information System (YES).
The Software Product Manager must be able to create high-quality, innovative and high-performance software, in accordance with coding standards and technical design; design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications; support and/or install software applications/operating systems; participate in the testing process, reviewing and analyzing tests, witnessing testing and software certification. In short, you will have to ensure the technical integrity of digital tools and platforms, oversee systems development and lead the solution of any technical challenges in the digitalization of campaigns and iMISS.
In order to ensure that all available financial support is well coordinated and that technical capacity is built within MISAU, it will be based at the PNCM in Maputo-Mozambique.
Reporting: The Software Product Manager will have two reporting lines, reporting directly to the Program Manager and indirectly to the Director of the National Malaria Control Program.
Support the PNCM in the process of implementing and institutionalizing digital platforms, in order to ensure that it is able to build a knowledge base within itself to achieve better decisions and results, in order to achieve three main objectives:
This support is expected to be, in the long term, a catalyst in the execution and achievement of the above-mentioned objectives, so that the capacity of focal points at all levels, digital systems and processes, is successfully developed to ensure that , with MISAU resources, are capable of managing digitalization activities on their own, with a minimum of external dependencies, to achieve the objective of self-sustainability that will allow full ownership of MISAU.
