General Accountant

We are hiring a General Accountant with solid experience in Accounting, Treasury, Tax and Reporting for an International Engineering company in Maputo, Mozambique.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Accounting;
2. At least 5 years of Working experience in Multinational companies within the Oil & Gas, Mining, Engineering or construction Industry;
3. Fluent in Portuguese and English;
4. Knowledge of SAP and other Accounting Software;
5. Knowledge of Mozambican tax and local GAAP.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the accounting team of the company;
2. Perform monthly closing of the accounts according to the company standards;
3. Prepare daily, weekly and quarterly reports;
4. Compute Fixed amortizations and update register;
5. Ensure that Bank and cash Reconciliations are performed accordingly;
6. Accounts payable and Accounts receivable;
7. Perform the necessary tax liquidation (VAT, IRPC, INSS, IRPC).
