Gender Lead Consultancy Temporary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Gender Lead Consultant to join our client’s team. This is a 7 month contract.

Responsibilities

• Manage Consultancy team, processes, deliverables, staff LoE, high-level coordination with relevant institutions.
• Ensure gender assessments at the national, district and sub-district levels meet the established objectives.
• Ensure Consultancy’s focus takes into account Mozambique’s legal framework and requirements on gender equality matters, as well as client’s Gender Policy and Social Inclusion and Gender Strategy.
• Serve as main Point-of-Contact for the Consultancy, with relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee and guide Gender Research Assistant.
• Expertise on qualitative data analysis.

Knowledge and Experience

• 10 years professional experience conducting gender assessments.
• 7 years’ research experience, including studies using qualitative methods.
• 5 years leading research teams.
• Experience working in Mozambique.
• Portuguese and English proficiency.
• Experience integrating gender components in the transport sector, desired.
