The TRS Mechanic will provide “hands-on” technical support to the production and repair of equipment and/or tools.  Working in a shop environment, the TRS Mechanic will receive field tools, take them apart, repair and refurbish these tools to go back to the field using work instructions, manuals and following protocols.  The TRS Mechanic should be able to diagnose problems with tools/equipment, troubleshoot, repair, refurbish, implement mandatory modifications and execute and/or plan preventive and corrective maintenance of field equipment and tools, helping to mitigate assets related non-productive time and improve overall field service delivery performance.  The TRS Mechanic may be required to attend a client location to perform these duties whenever and repair and maintenance task is deemed necessary to carry over a field operation.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

• Good understanding of hydraulics;
• Must be a qualified diesel mechanic;
• Must be able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision;
• High School education.

Preferred Requirements:

• College degree in engineering or related science;
• Oilfield experience.
