Putting together a strategy and a plan for Health and safety and Statutory compliance;
Responsible for health and safety on site, ensuring that the project has all relevant policies, risk assessments and codes of practice;
Assist in devising and supervising strategic plans for repairs, maintenance and development of project premises and grounds, including rolling programmes and contingency plans;
Work with individuals in the team to review current Health & safety checks, logs and identify gaps;
Assist in the day to day maintenance of the project premises;
Assist in the facilitation of work of outside contractors;
To be included in the out of hours list where necessary and attend the project premises in the event of an alarm call out;
Carry out from time to time any other duties within the competence of the job holder, that may be reasonably required;
All administrative tasks related to the role including the development of specifications,
work rotas, absence management, etc;
Maintenance of accurate and comprehensive records;
Preparation of reports and analyses, with proposals for action;
Attendance at internal and external meetings as required.
