The ATOS Lda is hiring a Sustainability Department Manager.
Description
Strategy development: in close cooperation with the Chairman, develop innovative, context-driven approaches that support vision of facilitating sustainable industrialisation in Mozambique. Department management: manage team of 10, report to Chairman and Board, ensure compliance with company rules, work plans and milestones. Financial management: oversee financial aspects of the department; create and monitor budgets. Monitoring, evaluation and learning: guide and supervise the team in their production of reports on programme results. Marketing & communications: supervise the coordination with marketing team for the production of articles, videos and other media outputs about sustainability programmes; oversee visibility opportunities for partners and sponsors of the programme. Donor/sponsor relations management: develop, maintain and manage relationships with donors and private sector sponsors that partner with sustainability programmes; write proposals for new projects. Representative: be the face of Sustainability and represent it at official occasions and in the media.
Requisitions
Master’s/ Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainable Development or similar subject;
Fluency in English and Portuguese (spoken and written);
Management experience;
Leadership ability;
Background in sustainability desired;
Experience working with donors;
Experience working with private sector;
Excellent writing skills (in English and Portuguese);
Outgoing, presents well in public;
Willing to travel within Mozambique.
