Services Manager Full-Time

Summary

The Services Manager is responsible for the implementation of support services throughout the exploited land, inclusive of logistics, ground transport, drones, interfaces, aviation and camp management. The role further extends to act as Company liaison for site engagement purposes with Area 4 and other proponents.

Qualifications, skills and experiences

• Degree in a relevant subject, minimum 15 + years of experience, with 5 managerial within either a large corporate environment or mega project environment;
• Experience of managing functional departments and activities at remote sites with a diverse multi-cultural team;
• Required knowledge within the following; Project Management, Project Services, Management Systems, Contract management, Cost control, Interface Management and planning;
• Provide leadership, development and direction to a multi-disciplined and multi-national services team;
• Experienced contract management capability is essential;
• Ability to analyze delivery methods, identifying concerns and implementing recovery mechanisms;
• Proficient within a high demand, fast track multi project/services environment;
• Experience with the implementation of Assurance processes to verify conformity to contractual requirements;
• Manage interfaces and engagement with both internal and external proponents;
• Ensuring delivery requirements are identified, progressively verified and delivered to contract requirements;
• Excellent communication and engagement skills at all levels

Key experiences requirements

• Knowledge of aviation and travel management;
• Understanding of camp management activities;
• HSE Champion with knowledge of HSE Behavioral Based Systems;
• Ability to establish process controls to support all services provided;
• Ensures consistency of approach with other offices;
• Maintains close contact to assure coordination of control activities remain aligned with project objectives;
• Proficient knowledge of discipline functional departments that support project delivery – HR, IR, IT, Assurance, Project Controls, C&P, etc;
• Proven track record of training, mentoring and advancing local content employees.
