The main purpose of Senior Hydraulics Engineer role is the following;
- Preparation of detailed design documents such as; descriptive memory, Technical Specifications, Bill of Quantities, Drawings and Bidding Documents for Contractors) for public and private water supply/waste water/storm water and fire-fighting systems;
- Perform assessment of hydraulic phenomena in pipelines such as transient flow (water hammer) and provide the necessary protection i.e., sizing the water vessel and anchor blocks
- Preparation of EoI’s and proposals (methodology, project planning, staffing, budgeting, etc.)
- Identifying materials specification and use accordingly to the hydraulic engineering projects design (pipes, valves, vents, pumps, etc.) as per the international standards;
- Preparation of progress reports;
- Elaboration of hydraulic, hydrological and geohydrology studies for determination of design parameter;
- Supervision of team.
