Directs craft activities, through craft supervision, within the area of responsibility.
Monitors and ensures that the quality of work performed meets requirements.
Analyses workforce, material, and equipment requirements, and coordinates the area discipline work plan requirements with others as designated by the Area Superintendent.
Implements and enforces policies, procedures, and related work rules as established by field construction management.
Prepares reports and forecasts, as required, and keeps supervisors informed on the progress of overall assigned activities.
Assists Area Superintendent in the preparation of construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
Supervises and directs subordinate non-manual personnel, as assigned.
Ensures Zero Accident Philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
Overseeing scaffolders.
Thorough knowledge of all types of tubes and clips and systems scaffold is essential.
Managing & Maintaining scaffold erection and inspection logs for the scaffold tag system.
Thorough knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out procedures for working around energized equipment.
Manage the scaffold yard, schedule and perform preventative maintenance and repair of all scaffolding components.
Managing all scaffolders and ensure a period of time spent on site in the onsite scaffold yard to familiarize themselves with all the different types of scaffolding and to learn the handling, loading, unloading, sorting, maintenance system.
Maintaining all scaffolding equipment and the efficiency of the site’s scaffold yard.
