Project Interface Lead Full-Time

The Global Edge is hiring one (1) Project Interface Lead for Maputo.

Job Summary:

The Position is responsible for the coordination of project information amongst different project stakeholders in Country. The coordination shall focus on interfaces between national project stakeholders (i.e. GOM, NGO’s) and Project Teams as well external interfaces with other design teams, entities and contractors involved in the LNG Development.

Primary work location: Maputo Office with expected extended business trips to the project site (Afungi), Pemba and Palma District.

Reporting lines: In-country Project Permitting Manager and Project Interface Manager.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 YOE in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical, projects preferably in a leadership and coordination roles, dealing with internal and external multifunctional interfaces, including but not limited to service providers, contractors, national government authorities;
• Knowledge of offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities and systems, including subsea systems, pipelines, processing facilities, and related construction activities;
• Experience with major oil and gas capital projects during the full cycle including design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases;
• Extensive knowledge of implementing and executing EPC, EPC&I contracting strategies and influencing contractors’ approach;
• Previous experience in liaising with NGO’s and Government Authorities

Education:

•  An engineering bachelor’s degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify design, delivery and schedule interfaces and associated risks to project progress and recommend mitigation thereof.
• Liaise with project team members, managers, contractor representatives and project business services personnel.
• Liaise with relevant Government entities, as related to and support of core technical interfaces roles.
• Gather pertinent interface information from a variety of sources and distribute to interested parties and project teams.
• Facilitate interface process amongst stakeholders.
• Ensure that all interfaces are registered, managed and successfully completed.
