Portuguese Teachers Full-Time

The SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL is hiring three (3) Portuguese teachers, for Palma, Pemba and Mueda in Cabo Delgado.

SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL is a French humanitarian organization which provides aid and assistance to victims of war or natural disaster. For over 42 years the association has focused on meeting three vital needs – water, food and shelter. Currently present in Mozambique since 2019, SI carries out emergency / post-emergency programs in WASH sector in Cabo Delgado.

Description of the Position

SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL is soliciting competitive proposals in order to select 3 Portuguese teachers who will ensure lessons to its expatriate teams respectively based in Mueda, Pemba and Palma.

Responsibilities

• Proceed with the evaluation of each expatriates’ level of Portuguese to be able to adapt the courses according to the different level;
• Give classes once per week per level for a 1h30 class duration (one complete beginner level, one intermediate level);
• Produce appropriate supporting documents for Portuguese learning;
• Prepare exercises to be prepared at home by the learners in between 2 sessions;
• Be fluent in English to communicate with all expatriates.
