Planning Officer Full-Time

Overview

PRI is hiring a Planning Officer, based in Maputo.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement planning principles and procedures to ensure Warehouse Management System availability;
• Place materials purchase orders/contracts in SAP system and maintain target stock levels within the factory;
• Work with the Production Planning team when a material shortage is identified to ensure the issue is resolved quickly with minimum impact to the factory;
• Be the principal point of contact for the supplier with regards to business for the factory.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Planning, Management or related areas;
• More than five (5) years in material planning, procurement, and supply chain;
• Excellent reporting and ability to develop policies and procedures from a “zero” base;
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
