EA- Private Employment Agency is currently recruiting an OGC Coordinator to be based in Maputo .
Responsabilities
Ensure that client requirements are fulfilled;
Responsible to receive nominations and/or inspection instructions;
Responsible to identify client’s instructions for own use or to pass down to inspectors and/or junior inspectors;
Responsible to distribute work orders to the various inspectors depending on relative expertise, skills and availability;
Ensure that all client’s instructions can be executed and advice client of possible non adherences;
Ensure that OGC staff carries out their assigned functions in accordance with inspections procedures;
Ensure that Regional Business Operations Manager and OGC Manager are advised of any complaints or claims;
Assist the Asst. Manager in investigations relating to complaints or claims;
Ensure that field reports are completed prior to submission for final report preparation;
Ensure accuracy of reports and compliance with any specific requirements;
Ensure proper maintenance of files;
Responsible for the upkeep of equipment and measuring devices;
Suggest the use of other equipment for better job performance;
Follow up and investigate with manager any discrepancies during inspections;
Keep an open channel of communication with terminals/installations and advice manager with new development;
Identify own and inspector’s training needs;
Provide trainee inspectors with theoretical and hands-on training. Oversee their performance;
Asses human resource with the intention to get the best of each inspector;
Conduct field training of sectors staff and carry out regular on-site audits to ensure that field staff are maintaining standards and properly following procedures;
Ensure that OGC staff complies with internal business practices;
Ensure that OGC staff complies with all guidelines and instructions;
Notify the Division Manager for failures to comply with all guidelines and instructions;
Facilitate the flow of information from OGC staff to the Division Manager;
Notify the Business Manager for failures of any established systems or other problems relating to the efficiency and operation of OGC business;
Fully comply with guidelines in business ethics and the entity’s code of ethics;
Ensure that the field inspection reports conform to the department’s standards and cover all the customer’s contract/order requirements;
Issue/revise all final reports and invoices;
Direct liaison with terminals and vessels for important information and pass to the appropriate officer and give all direct support to operations when the Senior Inspector is on leave;
Act as Division Manager when the Division Manager is on leave.
Requirements
Technical Degree in a related field;
At least 5 years of experience within the Petroleum products inspection;
Good working knowledge of the oil and petrochemical industry and the transportation and storage of associated products;
Good working knowledge of measurement and loss control procedures;
Knowledge of office administrative procedures;
Familiar with company procedures;
Experience within the oil and petrochemical inspection industry;
Good interpersonal skills;
Capable of responding to clients’ enquiry on a particular job.
