The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is seeking an Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the Country Director to provide effective and efficient administrative, operational and logistical support to the Country Director and the Mozambique office. This position will be based in Maputo.
The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is a Swiss-based foundation launched at the UN in 2002 to tackle the human suffering caused by malnutrition. Working with both governments and businesses, we aim to transform food systems so that they deliver more nutritious food for all people. In particular, we aim to make healthier food choices more desirable, more available, and more affordable. GAIN’s mission is to advance nutrition outcomes by improving consumption of nutritious and safe food for all people, especially the most vulnerable to malnutrition.
Reporting to the Country Director, the Officer Manager / Executive Assistant will provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Country Director to ensure smooth operational delivery, performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks simultaneously.
In addition to this, the postholder will act as the line manager for the administrative team and will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks simultaneously, providing support to the country office employees, assisting in daily office needs and implementing the general administrative activities in the office.
The starting salary on offer for this role is from USD 21,584 per annum, depending on experience.
