Petrofac is hiring a Manager – Business Development based in Maputo.
Key duties
Formulate and implement strategic and tactical sales plans for the country;
Work with the Senior Management Team to develop country business strategy;
Develop and maintain new customer and stakeholder relationships within client organisations in-country;
Develop and maintain existing client relationships and seek to enhance existing scopes of work to include global service line offerings of Petrofac Training Services;
Deliver committed sales, revenue and margin performance of assigned budget commitment;
Ensure business development activities performed in-country are aligned with organisation strategy;
Conduct robust evaluation of opportunities in line with existing PTS processes;
Ensure compliance with Group principles, HSSE and ethics at all times;
Ensure business development strategy and execution are incorporated with quality and technical integrity into pre-qualifications, tender, presentation and marketing documents;
Contribute to maintenance of business development forecast database and marketing intelligence for the country;
Work closely with Proposals, Commercial and Operation teams (as applicable), participating in all required commercial/contractual meetings internally, ensure all contractual and commercial issues are reviewed and clarified by commercial department.
Bid manage major tenders as required;
Prepare information for the Risk Review Committee and participate as required;
Prepare accurate and timely management information e.g. monthly business development reports and weekly internal reviews;
Manage opportunity register and pipeline funnel to ensure integrity and up to date information at all times.

Portuguese speaking and writing fluent;
