The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is the world’s largest humanitarian organization, with 192 member National Societies. With guidance and support from IFRC Logistics Delegate and senior Logistics Officer, the Logistics Officer based in Tete will monitor activities to enable delivery of logistics services which are in-line with IFRC LPSCM Logistics strategy and IFRC procedures ensuring right quality and optimized services that meets the requests of services users.
This will include involvement in procurement, fleet management, stock control, warehousing, ensuring efficient logistics and warehousing operations, and is the first line of assistance during the response for emergency operations involving the warehouse stock.
He/She will work closely with CVM logistic department ensuring integrated approach with Host National Society (HNS) and conduct activities in scope of National Society development (NSD).
