Junior Farm Manager Full-Time

Eco Farm Mozambique, LDA, located in the district of Chemba, Sofala, intends to recruit for its staff one Junior Farm Manager to join the team  for full time  in the District of Chemba, Locality of Tsoni, Province of Sofala.

Objectives

• The Junior Field Manager will be responsible for management of the various production activities of the farm/operation through subordinate supervisors, section  managers and foremen to achieve planned production targets and to ensure the effective use of available resources. General Management  of total production/site function including human resources, maintenance, development and the workshop.

Requirements

• Agricultural  Degree;
• Agricultural background;
• Experience in bio dynamic agriculture: plant propagation and cultivation with the aim of improving plant growth, yields, quality, nutritional value, and resistance to insects, diseases, and environmental stresses would be advantageous.

Skills

• Be able to fit into a farming community in a remote location;
• Be a person with high morals, values, and principles to fit into current community;
• Have the ability to enthuse and motivate, manage & develop employees;
• Must have the ability to plan, lead, organize and control;
• Energetic, dynamic and capable, leader with well-developed interpersonal skills;
• A professional, credible individual who is totally trustworthy with a high level of integrity;
• Very people orientated;
• Flexible & adaptable;
• Be an extrovert;
• Able to speak  fluently English and Portuguese, Sena/Ndau will be advantageous.
