Information, Counselling, and Legal Assistance (ICLA) Coordinator Full-Time

A NORWEGIAN  REFUGEE COUNCIL (NRC), a non-profit humanitarian organization, is recruiting candidates to fill the position of (1) Information, Counselling, and Legal Assistance (ICLA) Coordinator Job -01- Cabo Delgado

 Required

Qualifications/Experience

• University degree in law, social studies, development studies / other relevant field / the equivalent;
• Minimum of three (3) years of work experience with NGO, legal or international organization(s) in the area of Protection or Human Rights.

Knowledge/Skills

• Experience from working as a project coordinator in a humanitarian/recovery context;
• Experience supervising teams in the field;
• Experience working with and implementing projects through local partners;
• Reporting and analytical skills;
• Experience in conducting assessments;
• Community mobilization skills;
• Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts;
• Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities;
• Knowledge about own skills/profile.

Context related skills; knowledge and experience:

• Excellent knowledge of the context in Mozambique, particularly Cabo Delgado Province and Northern Mozambique;
• Fluency in the Portuguese language;
• Strong command of English and knowledge of local languages;
• Experience working with government, local authorities, humanitarian actors, host community and displaced populations (IDPs and Refugees).

Performance Management

• The ICLA Project Coordinator will be accountable for and evaluated on the responsibilities and the competencies, based on NRC’s Performance Management System;
• The following documents will be used for performance reviews;
• The Job Description;
• The individual Work- and Professional Development Plan;
• The Competency Framework.
