HSSEQ Officer Full-Time

Job Description

The job holder is responsible for HSSEQ function within the BU

Act as DPA and CSO for all BU vessels

• Provide interface between vessels, business unit and divisional management on HSSEQ issues
• Be the BU HSSEQ focal point for clients, local authorities and external 3 rd parties
• Together with the Fleet Manager – Africa, set & monitor annual KPI’s that will enhance team members’ performances, whilst mutually supporting Corporate and Divisional targets and objectives
• Allocate at least 60% of work time on vessels, engaging and coaching crewmembers in safety conversations and HSE fundamental behaviors, identifying at-risk behaviors, overseeing HSE aspects of high-risk jobs, evaluating controls, and identifying and correcting unsafe conditions.
