The Grant Finance Manager (GFM) is responsible for the financial, compliance and risk management of the OFDA funded project to support the most vulnerable populations in the targeted areas of Mozambique affected by cyclone Idai and Kenneth.
The GFM will lead financial management of the grant supporting the accomplishment of the grant’s objectives as outlined in the proposal. This position has principal responsibility for the representation financial reports of the project to the donor, consortium leadership, World Vision SLT and other key stakeholders. Other key responsibilities include budget monitoring and control, sub-grantee management, including ensuring their timely financial reporting, funding and cash flow management, audit facilitation, grant documentation reviews and finance policy implementation.
World Vision is priming this award therefore the position will require consortium financial management of 5 partners including building an open and working relationship within the partnership finance persons. This means that the GFM will be the overseer of the consortium finance sector, ensuring adherence to budget, applicable policies and donor regulations, and financial reporting timeframes. As the consortium finance lead, he/she will liaise with critical grant stakeholders in liaison with the Grant Manager and Programs Officer assigned to the grant.
The GFM of OFDA reports to the World Vision, Southern Africa Floods & Cyclone Emergency Response (SAFCER) Finance Director.
