The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is hiring a Fleet Assistant, for Pemba in Cabo Delgado.
Job Description
- Ensure adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines, SOP’s and donor requirements;
- Implement delegated Fleet functions portfolio according to Plan of Action;
- Conduct and follow up daily fleet activities;
- Support the administration of fleet resources so that deliverables are achieved within set budgets, timelines and standards;
- Prepare a fleet draft reports as required by Country office;
- Ensure proper filing of all fleet documents;
- Perform other duties, as assigned by Line Manager.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the vehicle fuel requisition process;
- Continuous checking of the filling of the vehicle log sheets;
- Allocating of the available vehicles as per vehicles booking requests;
- Monitoring the Vehicle GPRS tracking system;
- Booking for staff flights locally for Cabo Delgado;
- Preparing the consolidated fleet requisition monthly as per request from various.
Requirements
- 1 or more years in fleet department;
- Experience in working on an emergence context is an added advantage;
- A diploma in transport, logistics or supply chain management. A degree will be added advantage;
- Fluent in Portuguese both written and verbal;
- Some knowledge in English is an added advantage;
- Ability to use the Excel;
- Ability to use email and experience in the use of outlook is an added advantage.
