Field Operations Curriculum and Accreditation Specialist Full-Time

Global Edge is hiring a Field Operations Curriculum and Accreditation Specialist, based in Maputo.

The biggest LNG project in the world requires the provision of Field Operations Curriculum and Accreditation Services to support its National Training (NT) division within its Operations team.

• The purpose of the SERVICES is to ensure the curriculum is in line with NTP objectives and Mozambique LNG requirements as well as that the relevant level of accreditation is granted in order to meet Mozambique LNG needs in terms of qualifications for Operators and Technicians;
• You shall define and elaborate the technical content for both Training Centre and OJT programs. Act as the focal point for all accreditation matters with National and International qualification authorities;
• Advise on all domains linked to curriculum and accreditation. Anticipate potential issues regarding curriculum and accreditation in order to advise best solutions to the management;
• Collaborate with the HSE coordinator to define the necessary training standards for the NTP curriculum. Liaise with International Qualification Authority to spread awareness and recognition of the NTP curriculum;

Responsibilities including but not limited to

• Adhere to and promote all applicable safety, environmental, security, compliance, quality standards and procedures established by COMPANY, local policies, laws, and regulations;
• Curriculum Coordination;
• Organize and lead chair meetings with Operations Field Readiness in order to continuously align the NTP program to their needs. Ensure that the competencies & sub-competencies list and content are defined and feedback on the previous years’ performance is given;
• Plan and coordinate NTP internal meetings regarding curriculum and accreditation matter with Managers and Instructors in order to meet the Mozambique Operation needs;
• Produce documents related to the curriculum and distribute to all concerned parties.

• Organize and chair standardization meetings with assessors to verify and ensure consistent assessment decisions are made and best practices are implemented;
• Propose to NTP management a strategy to provide the NTP National and International recognition and associated accreditations;
• Maintain a system in place so that the necessary number of NTP personnel is certified as assessor or verifier. Provide training when necessary;
• Verify the production of all documents, evidence, and proofs to be provided to accreditation bodies;
• Act as the “systems verifier” for verification procedures in accordance with the selected International Qualification. Ensure that all internal verification of assessment measures is carried out in a timely manner in full compliance with NTP policy and in accordance with selected International Qualification expectations.
• Ensure the registration of all NTP Technical Programme students in the selected International Qualification system;
• Develop vocational training strategies to enhance existing programmes. Ensure curriculum and assessment instruments fulfill training requirements in line with end-user specifications;
• 15 years of experience, including at least 8 years in a professional position in vocational education, 5 years as Operator or Technician in O&G industry, 4 years as Assessor/Verifier and 3 years of experience in Accreditation.
• The experience or knowledge of LNG is a plus, as well as the mastering of Portuguese language.
