Education, Gender and Social Inclusion Technical Manager Temporary
CESC is hiring a Education, Gender and Social Inclusion Technical Manager.
Education, Gender and Social Inclusion Technical Manager: She/he will ensure improved Girls’ Retention, and Performance in Upper Primary and Secondary Schools in target districts in collaboration with the COP and/or the DCOP to coordinate all activities and the technical approach related to the quality of teaching, with emphasis on the gender-sensitivity of teaching that will lead to better learning outcomes for girls; promoting girl-centered education by promoting community participation, support and accountability to reduce barriers for girls education. The Technical Manager Education, Gender and Social Inclusion must have the following minimum set of qualifications:
University degree in Education, social sciences or other relevant field;
More than 7 years experience with girls education and retention programmes;
Experience with curriculum design and teachers training;
Experience with gender based violence;
Thorough knowledge of the education system in Mozambique;
Strong knowledge in education; specific experience in one or more of the areas of curriculum development and integration, project-based, inquiry-based teaching and learning, teacher education and/or educational policy reform is desired.
