Driver Full-Time

Plan International is hiring one (1) driver based in Nampula.

• To ensure that the Plan staff, visitors, material, goods and correspondence are transported on a service mission, in an appropriate manner, and in safety and always in compliance with Plan’s policies on safe driving and the provisions of the Road Code;
• Support work in the field such as logistics issues, documents, according to needs;
• Monitor the need for vehicle maintenance according to mileage;
• Control and report all service breakdown expenses;
• Daily keep a consistent logbook log (mileage, fuel, destinations, etc.;
• Reports of monthly expenses and vehicle operation based on the forms;
• Mozambican Nationality;
• Academic degree 12th Class or equivalent;
• 5 years of experience in performing similar functions in NGOs is an advantage;
• Have a professional driving license with a minimum of 5 years of seniority;
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable professional experience as a driver in an NGO;
• Training or knowledge of mechanics will be an advantage;
• Experience in carrying out logistical and programmatic tasks in field work is an advantage;
• Knowledge of English is an advantage.
