PRI is hiring a Discipline Engineer based in Maputo.
Responsibilities
- Identify and minimise duplication of effort, optimise the resource more effectively;
- Ensure compliance with Performance Standards and International Standards and provide guidance to service providers;
- Proactively identify potential technical issues with engineering services or project specific engineering issues that have the propensity to impact project delivery and assist the resolution of these in a timely manner;
- Guide service providers and, where required, ensure that appropriate technical assurance is applied to out-sourced Engineering Services.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related area;
- At least seven (7) years of experience in assurance of technical quality of out-sourced Engineering Services (in Oil and Gas Industry);
- Knowledge of offshore operations and good supervisory skills;
- Register with the Mozambique Order of Engineers.
