Director of the Watershed Management Division at PRI

PRI is hiring a Director of the Watershed Management Division.

Perform organizational activities in the area of management and development of water resources, planning, coordination and control at the level of his Division;
Ensure the compliance, supervision, execution and reporting of all activities of its Division;
Analyze the results achieved by his Division, identifying deviations in results defining and implementing corrective and preventive actions;
Participate in the development of policies and strategic plans of the institution;
Manage and ensure the proper management of human, patrimonial and financial resources allocated to the respective Organic Unit.

Degree in Engineering, Technology or other relevant areas;
5 – 10 years of experience in water resources management activities including field experience in the field of hydraulic infrastructure, hydrometry and water users;
Knowledge of the applicable policy and legislation in the field of Water Resources and Hydraulic Works in Mozambique, including the organizational and management structure at national and regional level;
Have knowledge of tools to support planning, water resources management and flood forecasting;
Be a good communicator, honest, responsible, leader and motivated.
