Deputy Head of Mission Full-Time

The Precision Recruitment International is hiring a Deputy Head of Mission, for Maputo.

Duties

• Contribute to the annual plan, budget and policy frameworks to ensure alignment with strategies and policies;
• Analyse the political, humanitarian and medical situation in the country and region;
• Identify potential fields of intervention and determine response strategies;
• Coordinate emergency response procedures with the medical coordinator;
• Support the head of mission in the implementation of Human Resources policies (promote safe working conditions and reduction of health and safety risks);
• Ensure and coordinate the implementation of the security framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or Human Resource Management;
• 2+ years of previous work experience in humanitarian assistance in developing countries;
• Exceptional communication skills (fluent in English and Portuguese);
• Strong interpersonal skills.
