RTI International is hiring a Deputy Chief of Party based in Maputo.
The International Education Division is currently accepting applications for Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) for the anticipated USAID-funded “Improved Learning Outcomes in Primary Education (SABER) in Mozambique. The 5-year activity will improve early grade reading outcomes in Mozambique with the following objectives: 1) Improved quality of reading instruction in primary schools 2) Increased children learning outcomes in primary school and 3) Strengthened teacher professional development. Successful candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in Portuguese and English. Position is based in Maputo, Mozambique.
The DCOP will oversee all technical components and will serve as lead representative to the MINEDH. They will be responsible for capacity building efforts and integration of best practices in education programming as well as the management of critical relationships with the MINEDH and other stakeholders.
