IsraAID is a non-profit, non-governmental and apolitical humanitarian aid agency dedicated to supporting populations in crisis around the world, founded in 2001. As of 2020, the organization has responded to crises in over 50 countries and has operations spanning across 14 countries and a wide number of different sectors of expertise from both the humanitarian aid and international development arenas. In the aftermath of Cyclone Idai’s destructive path, IsraAID launched emergency response programs in Mozambique with WASH and Protection interventions. Today, thousands of vulnerable communities are still in need of support support, including women and children, who are suffering from the psychological impact of the disaster. IsraAID is starting to implement new programs in collaboration with Ministry of Education and bilateral donors to contribute to reconstruction and resilience building in the country.
