Climate Smart Agriculture Specialist Full-Time

PRI is hiring a Climate Smart Agriculture Specialist based in Xai-Xai.

 Responsibilities

• Determine the integration of Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) practices and technologies with farmers and key stakeholders;
• Identify CSA outcomes on sustainable agricultural production, adaptation and mitigation;
• Plan, implement, and monitor agricultural trainings according with Mozambique clime to local farmers, especially women’s;
• Manage and train local communities on conservation agriculture and other important methodologies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or degree in Agronomy, or related field of study;
• More than five (5) years with agricultural production and marketing methods projects in co-operation with local partners;
• Knowledge of ArcGIS, Qgis Softwares;
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
