DevTech is seeking a full-time Chief of Party (COP) for USAID’s Local Governance Strengthening (LOGOS) program in Mozambique. The COP will be responsible for the overall planning, implementation, monitoring, and management of the performance of the contract and for the vision, strategic direction, and management of the LOGOS activity to achieve the objectives and expected outcomes of the activity. They will be responsible for providing technical guidance in local governance capacity building, as well as advising relevant stakeholders, including top Mozambican Government Officials, in local governance sector reform initiatives. In addition to this, the COP is expected to build and motivate the team, ensure teamwork, serve as quality control, and has overall responsibility for LOGOS total performance.
The COP must provide leadership or co-leadership role for activities in his/her own technical area. The COP will be reporting to the COR (USAID) and the Project Director (DevTech) while indirectly supervising the Finance and Administration Director and directly supervising the Nampula office staff, the DCOP, and the STTA
