CESC is hiring a Chief Of Party (COP).
Advancing Girls Education (AGE) is a program aimed at support the development of the Mozambican Education sector by implementing girl’s education activities focused on “increasing retention of girls (10-19) in school”. To achieve this goal, AGE will (1) improve access to school for girls and increase the community support towards girl’s education; (2) improve girls’ retention, and performance in upper primary and secondary schools; (3) increase girls’ access to key social services such as health, WASH; and (4) increase safety of girls at school and household by reducing their vulnerability to early marriage and pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, and School Related Gender Based Violence (SRGBV). AGE is a five-year program, in Nampula e Zambézia. The positions are pending the bid launched by USAID Mozambique.
The Chief of Party (COP) is responsible for the overall leadership, management and implementation of the Program and reports directly to the donor and to CESC. S/he must supervise program implementation, serve as the principal interlocutor with the donor and the Government of Mozambique, and ensure the project meets stated goals and reporting requirements. The Chief of Party must have the following qualifications:
