Our client, an Oil & Gas company, is seeking a Capacity Building Lead to join their Local Content Department team. The selected candidate will be in charge of Proposing, implementing and coordinating programs in regard to Mz Lng training, transfer of technology and capacity building programs.

Responsibilities:
Lead the development, update, coordination, monitoring and implementation of the Mz Lng Project National Content plan in line with the requirements of applicable Local Content regulations and project needs, in regard to Employment & training/
Capacity building;
Lead the development, coordination, monitoring and implementation of the Mz Lng Project capacity building programs, in regard to:
Employment – Field readiness;
Training of nationals;
Support to SMEs;
Support to Institutions.
Programs may include but are not limited to the following: class training, internships, on the job training, mentorship, delegation of companies, etc;
Such programs may be implemented by other discipline leaders in which case the capacity building lead role is to ensure the project avoid duplication of programs and are properly reported;
Identify opportunities to customize capacity building programs to market gaps;
Communicate on achievements and plan;
Develop synergies with discipline leaders to generate awareness programs on project requirements, including but not limited to the following: HSE, C&P, etc.
The successful candidate will:
Propose, implement and coordinate programs in regard to Mz Lng training, transfer of technology and capacity building programs;
Develop and update the Mz Lng Local Content Plan in regard to employment and capacity building;
Develop and update the Mz Lng Local Content Reports in regard to employment and capacity building;
Ensures technical training actions are aligned with the best expression of the project manpower and supplier demand;
Assist as required the Mz Lng local content manager (preparing reports, drafting presentations and/or communications…);
Monitor Mz Lng contractors’ trainings, transfer of technologies and capacity building programs.
Qualifications/Experience required:
Engineer or Master’s degree in Business Administration or -equivalent;
Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience;
Fluency in English and Portuguese.
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word (Access is a plus).
