Advanced Life Support Paramedics – Temane  Full-Time

All Around Medical Solutions, Lda is  recruiting two (2) Advanced Life Support Paramedics for Temane.

Purpose

This position is responsible for managing and providing emergency medical care for the sick and injured in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies. The position also presupposes provision of basic health care under the guidance/permission of the Physician.

Responsibilities

• Attend to all medical emergencies and pre-hospital, hospital and inter-hospital transfers;
• Administer basic and advanced life support to patients on site, during transport to the clinic and in pre-clinical settings in accordance with standards and protocols;
• Support the rescue of victims by accident or illness;
• Provide primary health care under the supervision of the attending Physician;
• Manage pharmaceutical products that must contain in the first aid folder and other medical materials;
• Responsible for inspections associated with urgencies/emergencies, ambulances, documents;
• Updates of protocols and guidelines according to international standards associated with urgencies/emergencies and rescue;
• Manage pharmaceutical products and other medical materials;

• Comply with other responsibilities that may be clearly identified, necessary for the pursuit of the company’s objectives, within the scope of its competences.

Requirements

• Licensed/Emergency Medical Technician (Btech Emergency Medical Care/ Critical Care Assistant or equivalent);
• ACLS and ATLS updated;
• Professional Card holder;
• Samtrack qualification or other equivalent HST is an advantage;
• Three (3) years of operational experience as an Advanced Paramedic;
• Pre-hospital urgency/emergency experience in remote locations;
• Fluent in English and Portuguese;
• Excellent computer skills, especially in Microsoft office.
