Food Security & Livelihood (FSL) Manager will be in charge of the overall implementation of the livelihoods activities undertaken by all OFDA partners in this consortium under the World Vision Southern Africa Floods & Cyclone Emergency Response (SAFCER). The incumbent will offer technical expertise for the consortium ensuring that the proposed livelihoods activities are implemented according to high standards that meet the objectives of the project. The FSL Manager is responsible for overseeing, at all stages, the FSL activities of the OFDA Consortium Project. This World Vision Mozambique (WV MOZ) position will report to the WV OFDA Project Manager with matrix reporting to the SAFCER FSL Sector Lead.
He/She will be responsible for managing the FSL component of the OFDA Consortium, and will thus be working alongside the other FSL partners in the consortium. S/he is also accountable for accomplishing the FSL program objectives and outcomes. The OFDA FSL Manager ensures the overall success of the project by making sure the consortium FSL partners complete the defined activities while adhering to agreed humanitarian, accountability and SPHERE standards and contractual obligations; and that the project is completed on time, within budget and with acceptable quality. The FSL Manager will be responsible to coordinate the consortium members to FSL coordination and Technical meetings for consistency, improvement and the capacity building of the partners’ staff to respond to emergency situations. The position holder ensures representing WV in cluster and working groups and with relevant Ministries/stakeholders.
