Our client based in Mozambique is urgently looking for an Administrative and Financial Director to join their team.
Planning, organizing, directing and controlling the activities of the various areas of administrative support and the financial area of the company and subsidiaries by setting policies for management of available financial resources, structuring, rationalization, and fitness administrative support services, advising the Executive management and Board of Directors;
Prepare the financial and treasury reports, forecasts and deviations to budget of the company and its subsidiaries on a monthly basis and submit to the Group and the Board of Directors accurate, complete, valid and timeous results;
Define policies and strategies for the financial and administrative management, creating procedures to ensure good internal control and high standard of internal governance and resource availability;
Prepare and monitor budgets of the company and the risk management in various investments and day to day operations;
Develop and verify the business plans in accordance with the Group’s strategies and ensure the funds for materialization of the projects, assessing the risks of insurance portfolios;
Coordinate the activities of the Board and assess the financial condition through elaborate financial reports from the accounting result data to make strategic decisions regarding the direction of the company;
Participate in activities relating to the company’s strategic planning, lifting and analysing relevant information about the economic and financial scenario, in order to contribute to the development of action plans that will lead the company to achieve the its objectives;
Lead the preparation of the financial reports of the company, as well as the control of your fixed assets and register, in order to ensure the availability of accounting information and reliable management to give appropriate support to the decision-making process in all areas;
Analyse the contracts signed with third parties, from the point of view of taxation-tax and administrative;
Request or perform periodic audits on the accounts of the company, according to pre-established policies, do the follow-up of audits and ensure compliance;
Degree in business administration and finance, accounting, management or economics or related field;
Minimum of 8 years in large institution and at least 3 years in leadership positions in accounting and financial process.
