Financial Accountant Mining Sector Full-Time

My client is a mining company based in Mozambique looking to recruit an Expat Financial Accountant that has experience working directly for a Mining company. This person will need to have the following:

• Minimum 10 Year relevant financial experience in the mining sector;
• Undergraduate degree in accounting/finance or related field;
• Postgraduate qualifications (eg.CA, ACCA, CPA, MBA);
• A strong supervisory background with proven ability to train and mentor staff;
• Must be able to organize and prioritize work, and be able to meet tight deadlines, without compromising on attention to detail;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders;
• High degree of computer literacy;
• Must be proficient in Microsoft application software (Excel advanced skills a must);
• Experience in the following systems (will be highly regarded, but is not essential):
• Syspro 7;
• Sage People 300;
• Orb Fusion;
• Pragma Onkey;
• QlikView.

Well-developed communications and presentation skills with the ability to work in a team environment;

Advanced Portuguese language skills – written and spoken will be advantageous;

Salary: R140,000.00 to R170,000.00 /month – THIS IS A GROSS PACKAGE – Please do not apply if your salary expectations exceed the package on offer!
