Finance Manager Full-Time

Reliable Finance Manager sought to ensure the control and stability over the company’s finances, accurate and timely reporting while adding value to the business.

Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and timely financial reports and interpret financial information on a monthly basis;
• Maintain the financial health of the organization;
• Manage cash flow (cash, debtors, inventory, receivables) and cash allocation;
• Control all aspects of the finances of the company;
• Work closely with the Managing Director of the company to ensure that;
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans;
• Oversee daily operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and ensure reporting deadlines are met to the required standard;
• Manage the preparation and tracking of the company’s budget;
• Liaise with auditors to ensure audit deadlines are met;
• Ensure the company complies with relevant legislation and compliance framework;
• Interact with various other departments to ensure alignment of goals and maximizing of resources.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Financial Manager with minimum 6 year is similar role;
• Full proficiency in Portuguese and English;
• Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns;
• Deadline driven;
• Proficient user of ERP software;
• Experience in inventory intensive industries;
• Retail and project costing experience advantageous;
• Experience in dealing with foreign currency transactions and regulations;
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
• Able to manage, guide and lead department of 10 employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being adhered to and controls are maintained;
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles;
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations within Mozambique;
• BCom or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting;
• Professional qualification such as CA.
