Be prepared to discuss customer requirements, outstanding spare parts orders, maintenance requirements and procedures
Recommend methods of repair according to published material and report unsafe or at risk conditions / behaviour
Monitor equipment performance and report accordingly
Assist with preparation of work on the machines
Onsite equipment inspection, repair and maintenance supervision
Preparation of technical reports to be submitted to customers
Operational problem solving
On site electronic data gathering processing thereof
On site wear measurement data gathering processing thereof
Preventative maintenance activities
Support activities for customers in the minerals and cement industries
Inventory inspection of customer’s spare parts
On-going liaison with the client and relationship building
Supervision during larger preventative/ corrective maintenance activities
Attendance of meetings, minutes and daily reports
Education and Skills
Trade Certification (qualified artisan)
Minimum of 3 years working experience in similar industry
Experience in maintenance, repairs and inspection of industrial equipment
Experience in alignment and equipment
Computer literacy – high
Must be fluent in speaking both English and Portuguese
Ability to work independently in a high pressure environment
High level of communication/ interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team and foster a team approach to customer service while sharing market area service reasonability in building long term customer relationship
Regular and extensive travel to various customer sites and occasionally to Germany for training purposes.
