Reporting to Operations Manager, the incumbent ensures that tropical cyclones affected populations receive humanitarian assistance rapidly and effectively. The Field Coordinator supports the National Society in ongoing assessments, coordination with Movement and non-Movement partners in determining community selection criteria, geographical and affected households targeting, registration of households, market analysis, distribution of non-food items (NFIs) and/or cash, as well as key information. The Field Coordinator serves as a lead in planning, implementation and monitoring of multi-sector interventions in relation to the above tasks. The role provides support to Mozambique Red Cross and Movement partners in the coordination for informed planning and alignment. The Field Coordinator will represent IFRC and Movement partners (as appropriate) in humanitarian coordination platforms at field level and suggest necessary adjustments to be made for relevance of operational priorities and strategies.
The Field Coordinator will be responsible for the following tasks:
Write an End of Mission (EOM) report and share it with the Operations Manager
