Empowering Adolescent Girls to Learn and Earn Full-Time

EAGLE (Empowering Adolescent Girls to Learn and Earn) programme project implementation lead will manage the overall implementation of the EAGLE Project in partnership with implementing partners in Mozambique. You will manage the strategic development and provide leadership and expertise to ensure the project goals, outputs, and outcomes are met working closely with the local partners, government agencies, developing networks with concerned stakeholders at different levels. You will be supporting all other VSO’s work in- country as required by the Country Representative to optimise the contribution towards reducing poverty in the region.

Essential

• A Bachelor Degree level or equivalent; A Master’s degree would be an advantage;
• Advanced understanding of programme management, research and evaluation methodologies;
• Skilled in designing and managing data research;
• Excellent relationship management skills and experience working with people in different contexts;
• Strong computer skills, including statistical packages and the ability to interpret data and construct models where appropriate;
• Excellent communications skills – able to express complex information in a simple and succinct manner;
• Self starter with initiative and confidence to lead in their designated field – can work independently and prioritise own work load;
• Strong team player;
• Excellent organisational skills.

Desirable

• Experience working in a ‘Development’ context/ International development sector organisations;
• Being up-to-date on the current international debate around development effectiveness and research and evaluation methodologies.
