Director of Operations Full-Time

Our client is looking for a Director: Agricultural Development – Coffee, Cashew & Cash Crops to join the team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

The Director will be responsible for overseeing daily agricultural operations, developing sustainable farming practices, managing agricultural projects, coordinating with local communities, and implementing strategies to support the park the park’s conservation and community development goals.

• Experience in production of Coffee, Cashew, cash crops.
• Factory operation for processing of products for export.
• Direct reports: 5, Indirect reports: 270.
• Business acumen, Financial management, marketing, sales & HR.
• New crop development, export & marketing analysis.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Agriculture with a major in Soil Science, Plant production or an Agricultural Economist, Environmental Science, or related field 12 + years management experience.
• Agricultural management, sustainable farming practices, and Project management skills.
• Knowledge of agroecology, permaculture, and sustainable agriculture practices.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to work in remote and challenging environment.
• Strong management and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid passport.
