ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Director of Administration and Finance – Mozambique. The incumbent will be responsible to oversee all finance and administration functions of ICAP in-country, including budget development and tracking, financial management and reporting, subcontracts, procurement, human resources and office management. Builds and supervises a strong administration and finance team.
ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Director of Administration and Finance position by December 27, 2019. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field required and a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience with at least seven (7) years of work experience at an international NGO. They should have sound knowledge of accounting principles and techniques required; experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks.
The incumbent will have a demonstrated experience working independently with minimal supervision, reliably establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. The Director of Administration and Finance will also have experience working with international donors required; experience specifically with US government donor agencies and familiarity with USG rules and regulations strongly preferred.
The position is contingent upon availability of grant funding.
