Job Summary
Responsible for engaging business areas to understand, anticipate and fulfill their Data and Analytics needs. Convert stakeholders requirements into a data strategy, roadmap/pipeline that drives value for prioritization and execution. Build and monitor implementation of Data Marts for Business Units.
Job Description
Business Engagement
- Engage business areas to understand, collect and prioritization data and analytics requirements into each BU strategy/roadmap.
Business Support
- Attend to BAU requests and incidents for data by business units.
Business Intelligence
- Develop data and analytics solutions/products (such as new reports) to fulfill business needs/requirements and to deliver on the data strategy per BU, leveraging existing and new tools and technologies (such as Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence);
- Create attractive automated dashboards which help present in clear and compelling fashion data and insights to business stakeholders for decision-making.
Data Engineering and Automation
- Build and automate data pipelines from diverse and disparate sources (datawarehouse, excel, sharepoint, etc.) which involves data manipulation, cleansing, etc.
Descriptive and Predictive Analytics
- Using machine learning and other available tools and techniques assist business gain additional insights from available data which can help drive the delivery of business goals (eg increased efficiency, tailored product offerings, increased sales, etc.)
Education
- National Diplomas and Advanced Certificates: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Compulsory).
