Data Administrator Full-Time

Job Description:

Compuscan, an international credit bureau has a position available for a Data Administrator who will based in Maputo, Mozambique. The ideal person will be someone that has experience in a credit bureau or similar data driven business.

Key Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in a credit bureau or similar data driven business;
• Previous experience in the Banking and financial industry would be advantageous;
• Degree or appropriate similar relevant qualification;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access;
• Bilingual in English & Portuguese.

Key Performance Areas:

• Manages receipt and formatting of data for validation,
• Coordinate, monitor and control the flow of test data through the various stages of collection, testing, analysis and feedback within agreed service level agreements (SLA).
• Assist in loading of data to staging servers e.g. The warehouse, and ensures that all successfully validated data is loaded to production within established timelines;
• Interaction with credit providers, business users, developers to resolve data quality problems;
• Assist in preparation and verification of data extracts for billing purposes;
• Identify, assess, document and communicate potential data quality issues identified in the way data is collected, stored, processed or used during the testing stages of a credit provider’s book.
