Our client, an international Logistics Company are looking for an English and Portuguese speaking Country Manager to based in Maputo or Pemba, Mozambique. The role is offered on a Permanent basis with a negotiable salary and benefits package.

Job Overview:

As Country Manager you’ll be overseeing the daily operations the company in Mozambique. This involves running the head office in Pemba and overseeing remote sites including Palma and Nacala.

Responsibilities:

• Introducing clear systems and processes to all aspects of the business to ensure the Company is poised for further growth;
• overseeing the operations within Mozambique and ensuring the organisation is running effectively;
• Completing tender submissions and due diligence paperwork needed to get us registered with new clients;
• Understanding clients’ needs and problems and providing solutions using Companies current and potential resources;
• Identifying new projects and strategic areas in which we should invest;
• Managing a fragmented team and clients and keep the operations going;
• Build and maintain business relationship with the Government.

Experience:

• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent vocational experience in Transport / Logistics service support;
• Experience in oil & gas industry will be beneficial;
• Must have demonstratable experience within Management, ideally with an integrated logistics provider;
• Fluent in English and Portuguese is preferable;
